The first impression could be the last; and thus it is so super highly important. It’s true. But it’s never too late to make your store attractive. These are just a few simple tips that can make a huge difference.

Put the most important information and display items here by using signs, images, text, products or anything that should be the first welcoming sales pitch to your customers. For example, if you are running a promotion, then let your potential walk by customers know by putting sale signs outside the store.

Window Displays are crucial

Before you put anything on your store’s window display, know about your target audience and what the best selling products are during the specific season. For example, during summer, a lot of customers are looking for Air Conditioners; so, put them up. So, if a potential customer walks by your store, he or she might stop to have a look that the latest trendy AC and maybe even snag one if your sales team can make an attractive enough offer.

It’s just the first 8 to 10 seconds, which can catch the attention of you potential customers. Also, be creative in arranging products on your window displays, and make it look minimalistic but visually pleasant.

Aisles: eyes to thighs

The next thing customer will see inside the store are the aisles. Always keep your best-selling products in the eyes-to-thighs level, so that your customer can instantly get glimpse of the most attractive items without moving tilting neck. Do not create a cluster or a messy pile.

Décor

Colors and ambiance leave a very strong impact on people. Before you finalize the décor and colors of walls and aisles, put yourself in potential customer’s shoes, and think about what will attract you. In Electronics stores, colors of Cellphones, Accessories, and other products should be placed dynamically and in balance so that customers feel happy and uplifting while shopping.

Checkout

You might think your job is done by making a sale to your customer, but trust me it’s not. Because you still have an opportunity to sell more side items on top of the primary item that the customer came in for and picked up. How can you do this? It’s very simple. Place accessories like chargers, earphones, battery packs, mini speakers, and other cheap & fun products at the checkout counter. Little candies wouldn’t hurt either. The customer might end up buying one of these mini products while waiting to checkout.
