Tip of the Day: You can send a reminder to your customers whose bill payments are due by clicking on the Send Reminder button on the Dashboard. Evryday there will be a new list of customers whos bill is due in 2 days. Click Payment Reminder and Send Now. This will help you increase your repeat business and your top-up revenue. More top-up customers mean more sale of phones and accessories. You can also customize this message and change it to your liking (example: We fix phones, etc). There’s no charge for this feature and a great way to build loyal customers. Sell smart with CellSmart POS!

Tip of the Day : 12-17-2013

Tip of the Day: Want to manage what your employees can do with Cellsmart POS? As an Admin you have full access to our software and control over your store. However, if you want to limit what your employees have access to, you can change that very easily. By going to Settings>Sales Rep; you can add new employees to your store or edit existing employee permissions. For example, if you do not want to have employees be able to Batch Out at the end of the day, or see your profit and loss report, etc, just disable that option for the specific employee. Tip of the Day: Need more details about any phone in your inventory? Go to the Reports tab on the Dashboard and click on IMEI report. Enter any IMEI number to see when you purchased this phone, from which vendor and for how much. If the phone has been sold, you will also see which rep sold it to which customer, on which day and for how much. You can click on the magnifying glass to see the actual invoice for your purchase or the customer receipt for the sale. If the customer returned the phone back to you and / or if you returned the phone to your vendor, you will find this information there, as well. Tip of the Day: The Cash Counter feature is very important to master in CellSmart POS. We recommend that you use the Cash Counter feature religiously to avoid any errors in the register. Checking the register every hour helps to prevent any error from snowballing to the end of the day. Rather than trying to figure out at the end of the day where the transaction error was, checking it every hour helps to pinpoint the error when it happens. Happy selling! Tip of the Day: Did you know that you can change the store policy on your receipts with just a couple of easy steps? It is important that you have accurate store policies on your receipt so your customers are aware of your store’s returns and exchange policies. You have separate policies for sales receipts, store credit, repairs, bonus points, and layaway. Get started by clicking on the Settings Tab and click on Settings, 2nd Tab: Store Policies. A simple-t- understand graph will show you your sale by the hour, giving you a better idea on customer flow through out the day. This will allow you to make better decisions on your staffing needs. Tip of the Day: Want to know how many activations you have done so far this month? How about last month? We have put your activations right on the Dashboard (left of the signal light). It will show you how many activations you did last month, how many you have done so far this month and even how many you are projected to do by the end of this month (if you keep activating at the same rate that you have been activating so far this month). This is a great tool to help you manage how many activations you are doing for each carrier in your store and make sure you meet your carrier quotas for the month. Sell smart with CellSmart POS.

Tip of the Day: It’s closing time and you are trying to close the batch…and you realize your cash is over/short. Or your prepaid/topup numbers don’t match. Don’t you hate having to go through the whole day’s transactions to figure out what went wrong? Use the Cash Counter feature (Right side of the Dashboard) to help you keep an accurate count of your cash throughout the day. Make it a habit to do it every hour, so if there’s an error, you can find it between now and the last time you counted cash and correct it easily instead of scratching your head at closing time. Tip of the Day: Save yourself the headache! Use the Cash Counter feature in CellSmart. Checking your cash every one hour will help you pinpoint any issues you have with the cash in your register. Rather than wait the whole day to find out that you are over or short; catch it quicker! Tip of the Day : 10-18-2013

Tip of the Day: You don’t have to always click the Payment tab to make a Bill Payment. From the main Dashboard, press F1 to get to bill payment screen. Also, right clicking on the mouse on many screens in CellSmart POS will bring up a menu to access the bill payment, calculator and open electronic drawer functions. Tip of the Day : 10-17-2013

Tip of the Day: If you happen to take a wrong number for bill payment, you can put the payment on hold until the customer returns. From the payment pending window, click on the hour-glass next to the number that is wrong. When the customer returns, go to payment pending window, click on the third tab, Payments on Hold, click on the check mark for number in question. You will have the opportunity to change the number and/or carrier. When done, payment will go back to Pending where you can take care of it as usual. Sell smart with CellSmart POS.
